| The Certificate of Last Will
cannot be requested for a period of fifteen working days following
the date of death.
To obtain the Certificate of Last Will, the following documents
must be presented:
- Last Will Form (this may be obtained at
a tobacconist’s or at the Ministry of Justice itself,
and must be completed with the precise information that appears
on the Death Certificate).
- Original Death Certificate (or duly certified
photocopy) issued by the Civil Registry of the town in which
the person has died. The names of the parents of the deceased
are required to be entered on this document.
